When you’re not around,
When you’re nowhere near,
When I can’t hear your voices sound,
This is when I know true fear.

When I can’t seem to find you,
When you’ve gone far away,
I don’t know what to do,
It seems I’ve lost my way.

Without you here inside our home,
I’m always looking for something new,
I have to keep myself busy,
Or I get lost thinking of you.

At night I wake up in fear.
In my dream I see you with another,
This is when I need you here,
To tell me there is no other.

If I could have my way,
You would be all of my time,
Not this patchwork of my day,
Like breezed clothes touching on the line.

Vacation In a Box

A beautiful sunny day,
With the rolling ocean waves,
Sitting in the soft sand,
Trusting in come what may.

Feeling the all the warmth,
Of the soft yellow beams,
Fading away from reality,
Loosing us in dreams.

Gaining an understanding,
That we both already know,
Never hiding again,
Letting the inside show.

Running from this life,
But embracing every day,
Accomplishing what needs doing,
While leaving time to play.

A vacation in a box,
In a circle made of gold,
Ignoring our minds,
Doing what our hearts were told.
